Groundwork NEETs Project is free, skills-training programme that provides employment support for young people living in London who are not in employment, education, or training.
Groundwork offer:
- Accredited training in: English and Maths Functional Skills, Employability Skills, Horticulture, Business Administration, Customer Service
- Employment Advisors who offer 1-2-1 tailored coaching and support, including help with interview skills, preparing for work, CV writing, and confidence building
- Employer Liaison Team who will identify suitable job opportunities across various sectors, and support trainees in securing interviews
- Assistance applying for apprenticeship programs and traineeships
- Support into further education if that’s the right path for you

Get Set UK is an employability provider that is currently seeking to place Ex-Offenders or those at risk of offending back into sustainable employment opportunities and therefore move away from dependence on benefits.
Get Set UK have various programmes that are working in partnership with the Department for Work and Pension and Jobcentre plus. The Ex-Offenders programme we are looking to support those in the borough of Waltham Forest. The main purpose of this contract is to support individuals back into sustainable employment and help stop re-offending.

ThinkFOUND is a furniture manufacturer with a difference. Located in our East London workshop we don’t just make custom made tables from the waste product of scaffold boards with a turnaround of 6-8 working days. ThinkFOUND are also a Not For Profit work experience platform for young persons frustrated with a lack of meaningful work experience. The Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) ESOL Advice Service is a centralised and independent service for anyone who wishes to learn or improve their English. The advice sessions are located throughout the borough on different days and at different times. Potential learners will do an initial assessment and have a conversation with the ESOL Advisor about their circumstances and needs. The Advisor will then signpost the potential learner to a course that is suitable for them.
There are a variety of provisions and free ESOL courses within the borough: morning/afternoon/evening classes, classes with creches, combined courses (i.e. ESOL and Childcare), conversation clubs, etc.

Quicksilver Bowes Academy is a community based organisation
that offers boxing classes and mentoring for young people aged 8-17.
The Academy’s main aim is to use boxing as a form of
therapeutic intervention to deter young people from gang membership and youth
violence, whilst encouraging the enhancement and development of boxing skills,
general fitness and overall wellbeing.
