The Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) ESOL Advice Service is a centralised and independent service for anyone who wishes to learn or improve their English. The advice sessions are located throughout the borough on different days and at different times. Potential learners will do an initial assessment and have a conversation with the ESOL Advisor about their circumstances and needs. The Advisor will then signpost the potential learner to a course that is suitable for them.
There are a variety of provisions and free ESOL courses within the borough: morning/afternoon/evening classes, classes with creches, combined courses (i.e. ESOL and Childcare), conversation clubs, etc.
There is something for everyone.
